Whooga ThermoFleece™ Technology
Whooga ThermoFleece™ Technology involves the materials selection, design, processing, construction and quality control procedures that every pair of Whooga Ugg Boots undergoes in our state of the art factories, to ensure the top levels of warmth, comfort and durability that our customers have come to expect from Whooga.

Enhanced Warmth
Ugg boots became winter favourites thanks largely to their unrivalled ability to warm your feet during winters coldest days.
Thermofleece provides greater warmth with thicker sheepskin micro fibres. This results in an improved ability to regulate the temperature of your feet and body. In other words you’ll feel warmer on colder days, but your feet will still be able to breath naturally and will not overheat.
Rigorously tested in extremes from -5° Celsius (23° Fahrenheit) through to 35° Celsius (95° Fahrenheit) ThermoFleece sheepskin was capable of maintaining an internal average temperature of a comfortable 22° Celsius (72° Fahrenheit) at all times.

Superior Comfort
To ensure the highest level of comfort we have more than doubled the inner width of our sheepskin fleece. By sourcing only Twin-Faced A Grade Merino Sheepskin and through strict quality control
proceedures we ensure that every boot has consistant, denser and more comfortable inner fleece. It is what our ugg boots are made from that results in these enhanced levels of comfort and durability.
The picture on the right illustrates clearly that not only is the Whooga ThermoFleece much thicker, but also that the higher quality fibres are finer and denser - which means not only a superior level of softness, but also:
- Enhanced impact cushioning for you heel and ankles
- Improved structural strength
- Superior odour and sweat restistance
- Additional airflow between the fleece micro fibres (which is better for your foot)
Lasting Durability
While comfort is always the top priority we also want our uggs to provide long term durability and resistance to daily wear and tear.
The picture below shows the ThermoFleece difference in the sheepskin grain. The non ThermoFleece boot on the right has a far shorter grain to it, and you can see that the colour is not as rich or as glossy. Whereas the Whooga ThermoFleece on the left has a higher gloss factor and richer, denser fibres which increase the flexibility and resilince of the boot.

The ThermoFleece processing increases the boots resistant to tears or punctures. It also increases the amount of original natural leather oils that remain within the sheepskin - which is what makes the boots much more resistant to absorbing daily dirt and grime.

Shaped for Fashion and Comfort
And finally, of course, the shape and contours of the boot are a very important factor. You want your boots to look colourful and sleak and to show of the natural beauty of the pure sheepskin leather.
Our boots are made to a superior design to emphasise the natural sexy curves of your legs and to provide the highest level of back and arch support.
The toe on the Whooga boots on the left have a gentle curve down to the sole which provides your toes with additional breathing room and prevents cramping. It also presents more of an elegant rounded boot shape to the front of the boots.
In addition the Whooga boots have a nice curve in the calf, which helps to support your calves and provides a nice visual line down to the heel of the boot.
Eco Friendly
Whooga ThermoFleece sheepskin is treated without the Chrome Tanning agents that are used in the majority of tanning factories. This results in our boots being both biodegradable and recyclable which is friendlier for the environment. Chrome Tanning is not only harmful to the environment but often causes irritation to those with sensitive skin and is actually detrimental to the durability and flexibility of the sheepskin.
